Eldar Kåre Farstad, CEO

Farstad has been CEO of Lerøy Havfisk AS since 1 November 2020. Before becoming CEO, he has served as CFO since January 2012. Farstad has been CFO of Harvesting since May 2011 and Senior Vice President/ Corporate Group Controller since May 2005. Farstad came from the position of CFO of West Fish Aarsæther AS, which merged with Havfisk AS (Aker Seafoods ASA) before it was listed on the stock exchange in 2005. Farstad has a Bachelor in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School.

Evelyn Rørvik, CFO

CFO of Lerøy Havfisk AS since November 2020. Farstad came from the position of CFO of West Fish Aarsæther, which merged with Havfisk (Aker Seafoods ASA) before it was listed on the stock exchange in 2005. Rørvik has a bachelor's degree from Strathclyde University Business School in Scotland.

Tone Utseth Myklebust, Sales Director

Myklebust has been in charge of sales of the company's trawl-caught fish for years and was appointed sales director in 2011. She has worked for Lerøy Havfisk AS since the company’s formation in 2005 (Aker Seafoods). Myklebust was employed from 1995 by West-Fish Aarsæther AS, which merged with Aker Seafoods ASA in 2005. She went to the College of Fishery Technology in Ålesund, where she specialised in fish, ship administration and management. Myklebust has also studied at the Norwegian School of Economics.

Stein Oksnes, Technical Director

Stein Oksnes was appointed technical director in June 2017. His maritime career started in fishing, and he qualified as an engineer from the maritime and technical university college in Ålesund. Oksnes has a second degree in marine engineering, in addition to project management and shipbuilding. Oksnes is a certified M1 chief engineer. Among other things, he has 18 years’ experience as a naval officer in the Norwegian Coast Guard, and was educated at the officer candidate school and the Norwegian Naval Academy. He has held different positions both at sea and on shore over the years as chief engineer, fleet inspector and project manager. In addition, Oksnes has experience as a surveyor of ships in operation and newbuildings for Det Norske Veritas. During the period 2006–2012, he was head of newbuilding at the shipyard Fiskerstrand Verft, which included responsibility for hull construction in Lithuania and Latvia. From 2012 to 2015, he was responsible for Fiskerstrand Verft's hull construction in Turkey. During the period 2015–2017, Oksnes was chief technical manager for the Turkish shipyard ADA Shipyard in Istanbul, hired from his own sole proprietorship.

Ronny Vågsholm, COO

Ronny Vågsholm took over the position as COO of Lerøy Havfisk AS in April 2018. He is also general manager of Nordland Havfiske AS, Hammerfest Industrifiske AS and Finnmark Havfiske AS, which are Lerøy Havfisk AS's shipowning companies. Vågsholm has worked for Lerøy Havfisk AS since 2011 and been part of the management team since 2013. He started his maritime career in fishing before joining the Coast Guard, where he served in a number of operational positions, finishing as captain. Vågsholm also has experience from the Norwegian Coastal Administration, where he was a senior adviser in the Department of Maritime Safety, and he was a regional manager of the ferry and express boat company Tide Sjø in Møre og Romsdal county. Vågsholm has a maritime education (sea captain) from the university college in Ålesund (NTNU) and has been educated in the Armed Forces, officer candidate school, national Coast Guard principal warfare officers’ course and staff studies.

Helge Singelstad, chair of the Board

Helge Singelstad (born 1963) is a qualified computer engineer, a business economist (siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), and took a one-year foundation level law programme at the University of Bergen. Helge Singelstad has been with Lerøy for years, including as CEO, deputy CEO and CFO. He therefore has detailed knowledge of both the group and the industry. Helge Singelstad is chair of the board of Austevoll Seafood ASA and a member of the board of DOF ASA. He is also CEO of Laco AS.

Arne Møgster, board member

Arne Møgster (born 1975) is a Bachelor of Business Administration and has an MSc in International Shipping. He is CEO of Austevoll Seafood and also sits on the boards of a number of companies.

Britt Kathrine Drivenes, board member

Britt Kathrine Drivenes (born 1963) is a Bachelor of Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School. She is CFO of Austevoll Seafood ASA. Britt Kathrine Drivenes sits on the boards of several companies.

Henning Beltestad, board member

Henning Beltestad (born 1968) has a degree in economics from BI Norwegian Business School specialising in international marketing. Beltestad is CEO of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA. He joined Hallvard Lerøy AS in 1993 and has held different positions with the company..

Sjur Malm, board member

Sjur Malm (born 1978) is a business economist (siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where he also completed a second degree. Sjur Malm was appointed CFO of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA on 1 October 2012. Malm came from a position as analyst with SEB Enskilda, where he had been employed since 2004. Sjur Malm has been an analyst in the fisheries and industry sector since 2007, and has repeatedly been named one of Norway’s top analysts within his sectors.

Andre Steffensen, employee-elected board member

Andre Steffensen (born 1968) is an employee representative for Lerøy Havfisk. Steffensen has been employed by the company since 1995, and since then he has served as skipper on several of the shipping company's vessels. He is a qualified first officer and sea captain educated at Tromsø Maritime College.
